Omaid Al Hasanat Organization (OAHO) distributed food and cash assistances to vulnerable families and needy people in Kabul and Mandikol village of Parwan province.
Omaid Al Hasanat Organization (OAHO) distributed food assistance to 43 vulnerable families and three thousand Afghani cash assistance per pack to 20 needy people, each food package included (One bag of 50Kg flavor, 12 Kg rice, 5Liters cooking oil, 3.5Kg beans, 3.5 Kg sugar, 1Kg green tea, 2Kg Salt and one can of tomato paste).
Recipients of the assistance thanked Omaid Al Hasanat Organization, and said that the range of poverty is high in the country, we ask from the charity organizations to increase and continue their assistances, and do such assistance to be community sustainable and stand people on their feet.
Sultan Adib Habibi the deputy director of Omaid Al Hasanat Organization said: “the recent droughts, lack of work, living in remote areas, inherited poverty and deprivation affected people life, we want to distribute more assistance to vulnerable families before the coming of winter session, in winter it is hard and danger to have access to such remote areas, because of snow falling, rain and snow demolish and block the rural muddy roads.”
It is to be mentioned that Omaid Al Hasanat Organization donated one hundred thousand Afghani for the construction of muddy road of this village last year, and giving five thousand cash assistance to seven needy families every month. MandiKol is one of the villages, which doesn’t have pure drinking water till to date, Omaid Al Hasanat Organization have plan to construct water supply network with water storing tanks in the future.
Omaid Al Hasanat is the first nongovernment organization which send their assistances to this remote village.
